Time : Saturday - March 14th, 2009
Venue : SAKURA Cafe & Restaurant, IKEBUKURO
Probably many of our friends already know, KIMONO and TEA CEREMONY are the most important symbols of traditional Japanese culture. But due to the hectic pace of life nowadays, people living in Tokyo may not practice them unless on very important occasions, needless to say for foreigners.

Therefore we organized a special Kimono and Tea Ceremony event back in March to promote the long-established customs. Thank you very much for your great response, we were overwhelmed by reservations in no time. To those who couldn't join the first event, don't worry. We might arrange another one in the near future, so stay tuned!

Learn from the master

In a Tea Ceremony, the host mixes the powdered green tea in hot water and serve the guests. People might think "It's a piece of cake!", but don't underestimate it, there are many rules to follow and it takes quite a bit of effort to whip a nice bowl of tea!
Finally the girls learnt from the master and prepared the tea by themselves!
