We had a Tanabata(Star festival) party at Sakura Cafe & Restaurant on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009.

Sakura Cafe & Restaurant served us new start menu in buffet style and Wine, Cocktails and Japanese beer!
Tanabata (meaning "Evening of the seventh") is a Japanese star festival, celebrates the meeting of Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair). We celebrate this day by writing wishes and hanging them on bamboo. Please check out the following photos!

Sakura Cafe & Restaurant has just renewed a food menu. Chef cooked new start menu for party participants! Befor the party, many party participants made a wish and hanged papper they wrote their wish. It's custom of TANABATA on July 7th. Look how serious they are!

A skillful chef, Mr. Shimizu is used to work at a three-star restaurant in France. He cooked a new start menu (9 recommended dishes) for people who joined the party!

We ate, drank and enjoyed with new friends! This is really a world-wide cafe and feel like we are traveling the world over.
