Nice and quiet place to stay.
I found a really nice Ramen shop just out the west exit of Shinagawa station. It's open from 11:00pm to 3:00am. The owner is very smart, speaks French, English, German and Japanese and even had a restaurant in Munich!! The best Ramen I've ever eaten!
If you are a student-perhaps staying at our Takanawa house is a good idea! We know that there are many Universities and language schools in MINATO ward in Tokyo. If you stay at Takanawa house, you may be able to walk to your school everyday, saving your train costs!
