Starting at Gotanda and running to its terminus at Kamata, the Tokyu Ikegami line spans 10.8km, two city wards and 15 stations across south-eastern Tokyo.
The areas surrounding each station stop are generally packed with shops, convenience stores and restaurants that eventually give way to quiet and laid back surburban streets. If you ever find yourself stressed out by the fast-pace of life in central Tokyo and long for somewhere quiet but with good transport, then the area along the Ikegami line could be exactly the kind of place that you have been looking for! On top of that, this area is also home to a lake (surrounded by cherry blossoms on spring) and many cultural interest points such as the famous Honmonji temple at Ikegami.
That being said, each station has its own specific highlights so why not click a station marked with to see premises and learn more about the area!
